Sara Cress
“I am from Charlotte, North Carolina and love spending time paddling whitewater at the US National Whitewater Center. I am fortunate to live close enough to the center that you will find me out there multiple times a week running laps. I found Bellyak at a conference in 2016 where I met Adam and immediately knew prone paddling was for me. Using a Bellyak allowed me to learn to read water and tackle rapids up close with a much smaller learning curve than traditional boats. My first time out I was surfing waves face first which is an experience like no other. I love meeting other prone paddlers and would be happy to meet up with anyone looking to paddle at the USNWC!”

“I currently live in Myrtle Beach, SC. My current paddling is mostly on my surfboard here in the Grand Strand. I’m excited to be a Bellyak Ambassador to show all of the awesome ways Bellyak can be used as cross training for endurance athletes (runners always underestimate the importance of a strong back, core, and shoulders!). I’m also excited to take my Bellyak across the state, exploring our state parks and waterways with my family this summer!”
